We are proud to say we are the oldest & largest independent Building Material Supplier in the state of Florida. Banner was created on January 10, 1953 by our patriarch Mr. Barney Landers. He not only was a great person but a leader in the industry. Numerous customers would also agree if not for Barney their businesses and life would be dramatically different. Banner’s legacy was enhanced when Barney’s oldest son Jack Landers joined the company in 1977. Jack Landers was instrumental in streamlining the operations and making Banner recognized for timely and proper deliveries. Not long after that in May of 1981 Jack’s younger brother Arthur left his job as a licensed electrician to join the family business at Banner. This was a life changer for Arthur and a huge boost to the thriving family business. Arthur still to this day is largely involved in the day-to-day operations. Arthur’s daughter Emily is now in charge of operations at all 3 company branches as the Banner family continues to grow. To this day Banner continues to be emulated by its competitors and amazed by its customers for always providing service and merchandise second to none.
